David Brooks's eighth grade science classes got down to business with the start of a new school year.  The students used various household items to form a liquid density column.
 
Seventh grade Three Oaks students in Mrs. Dianne Mula's science classes have been studying plant and animal cells.  To help them better understand the function of each cell organelle, they designed and constructed a 3-D model of either a plant or animal cell using common everyday items.  The models are displayed in the front foyer of the school.

Students in Stacey Alexander's reading classes studied literary point of view.  If they chose the correct point of view for a story excerpt, they could earn points for their team by throwing paper darts or bowling.
